TVS diodes

The working principle of TVS diodes is similar to that of common zener diodes. If the breakdown voltage on the label is higher, the TVS diode will conduct. Compared to zener diodes, TVS diodes have a higher current conduction ability. When the two poles of a TVS diode are subjected to a reverse transient high energy impact, the high impedance between the two poles is changed to a low impedance at a speed of 10 ^ - 12S, while absorbing up to several kilowatts of surge power.
